Effective: 21 August 2026. This policy explains what personal data trainedgut.com collects, why, and what rights you have. It is prepared under the Swiss revised Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, in force since September 2023) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Email address - when you sign up for the launch notification list through the form on the site. This is the only personal data you actively provide.
Technical log data - when your browser loads the site, our hosting provider logs the IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamp. This is standard for any website and is used for security and error diagnosis, not for tracking you personally.
No cookies, no analytics, no fingerprinting as of the effective date above. If this changes we will update this policy and add a consent notice before deploying any tracking.
Launch notifications - so we can email you when the product opens for signup and, if you accepted the founding-member offer, honour that discount.
Site operation and security - to keep the site running, block abuse, and diagnose problems.
Your consent (nDSG Art. 6, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) - for sending you launch and marketing emails. You give this consent when you submit the signup form. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing (link in every email) or by emailing us.
Legitimate interests (nDSG Art. 31, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) - for basic site operation and security logging.
Email address - kept until you unsubscribe, then removed from the active list within 30 days. Our hosting provider keeps a single rolling snapshot that lives for up to 28 days before being overwritten, so a copy of your email address may persist there for that period after you unsubscribe.
Server logs - retained for 14 days, then automatically deleted.
We do not sell your data. We use the following processors under contract:
Resend (Resend, Inc., United States) - handles the delivery of the launch and marketing emails you sign up for. Your email address is transferred to Resend for this purpose. See their privacy policy.
Hosting provider - WebSupport s.r.o. (Slovakia) - stores the site files and processes standard server logs.
Fonts are self-hosted from our own server. We do not embed Google Fonts, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or content-delivery script.
Resend is based in the United States. The transfer of your email address to Resend happens under standard contractual clauses (SCC) or equivalent safeguards recognised under the revFADP and GDPR. If you object to your data being transferred to a US processor, do not submit the signup form and inform us so we can remove any existing record.
Under the revFADP and GDPR you have the right to:
- Access - ask what data we hold about you.
- Rectification - correct anything that is wrong.
- Erasure - ask us to delete your data.
- Restriction - ask us to stop processing while a question is resolved.
- Portability - get a copy of your data in a common format.
- Objection - object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent - at any time, without affecting past lawful processing.
To exercise any of these, email info@trainedgut.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB) or, if you are in the EU, to your national data protection authority.
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the email list is limited to Itamo GmbH staff and the processors listed above. We do not store payment information (the product is not yet on sale).
We may update this policy when the site changes - for example when we add analytics, launch the product, or change hosting. Material changes will be signalled by updating the effective date at the top and, for existing subscribers, by email notification.
